Factoring service
Enhanced Factoring Services for Trucking Companies
Running a business, especially a small or newly established one, requires consistent cash flow, and unpaid invoices can disrupt essential financial operations, like payroll or rent. Fasticon Logistics partners with leading factoring companies to offer tailored factoring services, helping our clients keep their businesses running smoothly.
What is Freight Factoring?
Freight factoring, also known as truck factoring, is a service where a third-party factoring company buys your unpaid invoices, advancing 80%-90% of the invoice value. This way, carriers and owner-operators can access cash quickly while the factoring company handles the collection process.
Why Choose Truck Factoring Services?
By opting for factoring, trucking companies can shift the burden of non-payment risk to the factoring company. Even though they may receive a slightly reduced payment, the immediate access to funds enables companies to cover overhead costs or take on additional jobs, boosting overall profitability.
Key Advantages of Factoring for Trucking Companies
Quick Access to Capital
Factoring offers immediate payment from third-party companies, which reduces the cash flow lag between completing a job and receiving payment. This is especially beneficial during slower periods.Consistent Revenue Stream
Factoring services provide a steady cash flow, which improves financial forecasting and helps secure loans or investments for growth initiatives.Enhanced Income Flexibility
With factoring, drivers can balance reliable income from factored invoices with higher-margin orders. This flexibility allows drivers to adjust their approach based on business needs.Minimized Payment Risk
Factoring reduces the risk of non-payment from clients, offering peace of mind for small operators and owner-operators. The factoring company assumes responsibility for unpaid invoices, allowing drivers to focus on growing their business.

How Trucking Factoring Works
- Invoice your client for completed work.
- Assign unpaid invoices to a factoring company. You can opt for contract factoring (all invoices) or spot factoring (selected invoices).
- The factoring company provides an advance (usually within 24 hours).
- The factoring company collects payment from your client.
- After the invoice is paid, the factoring company takes its fee and sends you the balance.
Choosing Between Recourse and Non-Recourse Factoring
In a recourse agreement, if clients don’t pay, you must repurchase the invoice, often with additional fees. A non-recourse agreement transfers full responsibility for unpaid invoices to the factoring company, typically at a higher fee rate.
Truck Factoring: Pros and Cons
Pros of Factoring Services:
- Minimal qualification requirements, based on client creditworthiness.
- Fast funding, avoiding the wait for due dates.
- Scalable financing, as advances increase with business growth.
Cons of Factoring Services:
- Factoring fees reduce the total invoice amount received.
- Recourse agreements may require repurchasing unpaid invoices.

FAQs
What will Fasticon Logistics services do for my business?
Simply put, we give you back time so you can focus on making more money. Many owner-operators start in this industry to drive loads and earn, but find themselves overwhelmed by paperwork, regulatory requirements, and negotiations — tasks that take away from the real work that generates revenue. By managing these business support activities, Fasticon Logistics enables your business to run smoothly and helps you take on more loads. Additionally, when it comes to negotiations, our goal is to secure the best rates for your loads, so you maximize your earnings.
Isn’t it easier and cheaper to hire an in-house dispatcher?
Surprisingly, no. Recruiting skilled talent requires a lengthy hiring process and, potentially, the cost of headhunters. Even after finding the right person, you’ll likely need to provide office space and additional training, which adds to the expense. Many clients find that hiring Fasticon Logistics is more cost-effective than maintaining a full-time dispatcher. Our industry expertise, extensive networks, and experience allow us to deliver exceptional value for your business.
Do I have to enter into a long-term contract with Fasticon Logistics?
No, our services are offered on a month-to-month basis. We don’t require long-term commitments because we believe in earning your trust through quality service. If you’re not satisfied, we’re not either, and we work hard to meet your needs. We also respect your freedom to choose your business partners, so there are no long-term restrictions.
How do I sign up with you, and what do I need?
Signing up with Fasticon Logistics is easy, with the ability to submit documents online.
First, you’ll sign our Dispatch Carrier Agreement, which outlines both our responsibilities clearly. This agreement is meant for mutual protection — it’s not a long-term contract, as our services are month-to-month without penalties for discontinuing.
You’ll also need insurance listing Fasticon Logistics as the certificate holder. This is a standard requirement in the industry, allowing us to represent you in business transactions when needed, with coverage for both liability and cargo.
Additionally, we’ll need a Carrier Set-Up Package, references from shippers and brokers, your MC Permit, and a signed W9 form.
At Fasticon Logistics, we maintain precise, compliant records with all safety, regulatory, and industry standards, so we’ll also need a copy of each driver’s CDL for dispatching purposes.
Do I have to be working under my own MC authority to hire Fasticon Logistics?
We support both owner-operators with their own MC authority and carriers with company drivers.
Will you work with me if I’m new to the business?
Absolutely. We’re passionate about assisting truck drivers and carriers at every stage of their careers. We only require dedicated, hardworking drivers. If you’re a new carrier, it may initially be challenging to secure the best loads, as many shippers and brokers prefer carriers with MC authorities that are six months to a year old. Nevertheless, Fasticon Logistics will work tirelessly to help you earn well in your first year, and as you gain experience, access to higher-paying loads will become more accessible.
Can I select specific services from Fasticon Logistics?
Yes. While many clients benefit from our comprehensive service package — covering dispatch, documentation, compliance, and other essential supports — we also serve clients who prefer selective services, such as assistance with documentation alone. At Fasticon Logistics, we believe our clients should have the flexibility to operate their businesses in a way that suits them best.
